We manage a number of hosted freepbx’s, so all the phones are setup remotely. Occasionly, the clients will lose internet connection, or the phone will lose registration. Is there a way to setup the pbx so if the remote phone loses registration, that it will automatically send calls to Follow Me? We use mostly Sangoma S500 and S700 phones.
Yes, you set the “Unreachable” alternate destination to “Force FollowMe”.
