I’m trying to set custom MOH and am not seeing an option for editing the MOH category. I can add categories but I don’t see any option for editing or deleting them.
Current PBX Version:
17.0.19.21
Current System Version:
12.7.8-2408-1.sng12

Hi @natefisher
Can you upgrade framework and music (moh) module to latest version,
After upgrading, clear your browser cache or try accessing the GUI in an incognito/private window.
Let us know if this resolves the issue!
I’m almost totally new at FreePBX, as in just started approximately a month ago so you may have to treat me as that and step me through some things.
The MOH module version is 17.0.5 and I’m not sure how to update it if it isn’t up to date.
I’m not sure what the framework is your wanting me to update either.
I tried using a private browser window and couldn’t tell that it made any difference.
I did figure out that I can access the settings page for a MOH category by clicking on the “Add Category” button and then click on the category that I want to edit in the menu on the right side.
Then I get this screen.
I just checked on a FreePBX server that I had installed at home but I didn’t have a stable enough internet connection at home to use it reliably so I installed one on a VPS debian which is what I’m currently using.
On my one at home it works fine. The version of the MOH module on that one is 16.0.2.
your screenshot shows “linkformatter” in action column which generally means browser is failed to load java script which actually sets this action column , hence showing “linkformatter”.
Check, your browser network tab or browser console log to see why JS failed to load ? or you could check “fwconsole debug” in Freepbx Linux CLI as well to check the httpd/freepbx logs.
Probably the reason for that is because I’m using a proxy web filter. I’ll try to contact my filter provider and see what they can do about that.
If the filter is the problem, that would make sense because the one at home does not go through a filter beings it is on the local network and it is just external traffic that goes through the filter.
Edit: I do not have access to those settings on my filter but I can view log lines and here is one url that it says it blocked.
serveripaddress/admin/assets/music/js/music.js
correct so this shows music.js is not able to load and thats why you are not seeing any action options. please fix this issue at your end.
