hi
i have problem with cdr reports.
Now i create a database and the cdr table, after i enable cdr_addon_mysql.so on modules.conf but don’t work.
How i can see if this module is ok?
up
i can’t enable reports
HI
Did you select that module during the installation (make menuconfig)?
i don’t remember, the make installation 2 years ago and never the reports work.
Now i want to try to enable it.
How i can see what i need (is installed or not) o how i can see if is only a database problem?
See if the module is in /usr/lib/asterisk/modules if it is then try and load it from the Asterisk CLI and check the logs in /var/log/asterisk/full
Also check the config in /etc/asterisk/cdr_mysaql.conf and make sure db settings are right.
What version is asterisk and FreePBX?
hi SkykingOH
in /usr/lib/asterisk/module i have only
cdr_csv.so
cdr_custom.so
cdr_manager.so
and other file but without cdr prefix
i have the FreePBX 2.5.2, i download the upgrade to 2.6 but I am afraid I lose my configuration if i upgrade it…
What my next step?
You won’t lose your configuration but you should upgrade your FreePBX via the upgrade module in the web interface. You can take 2.5 all the way to 2.9
At 2.10 many new dependencies.
Depending on how your system was originally installed (was it a distro or from scratch) you may just need the Asterisk add ons package. It may already be built against your Kernel in your distro’s repo.
If you built from scratch you need to rebuild from source.
hi
i install it with a distro of asterisknow from cd.
So, now can i update my version?
The last version si 2.6 or 2.10?
AsteriskNow has always had a broken mysql cdr. Just don’t use it if you need cdr in FreePBX. Cut your loses and get a real FreePBX disto, it will save you endless hours of pain
You can update to 2.9
Do a search on the forum. Many threads on how to fix CDR’s in Asterisk Now.
