Is there a way to test the IVR without having an outside provider… just from my desk? I I have an E4SIP trial connection so I can make outside connections, but I want to dial in to see how the IVR works.
Make an empty ring group, set timeout to 5 seconds, set destination to IVR, call it internally.
Dial 7777 to test incoming calls. Feature Code Admin>-Core>Simulate Incoming Call.
Yes, you should be able to do this with a Misc Application under the Applications menu. This has the advantage over 7777 because you can go directly to any IVR for faster testing.

well, that was easy. 7777 failed “number you have dialed is not in service:” but the empty ring group idea worked perfect. Thank you.
