How can I enable call forwarding but not when call is from a ring group?

I have a group of extensions that are part of a ring group pointed to from a DID. I need to setup call forwarding so that calls are only forwarded to their cell phone when the extension is dialed directly or when someone else transfers a call to that extension. We don’t want their cell phone to ring when calls go to the ring group. Their desk phone in office does not need to ring, call should be immediately forwarded. CallerID retention from outside line or internal extension is desired.

Digium D series phones if it matters.

That’s the default behavior of a ring group actually. You have to explicitly add a # at the end of an extension to have the extension Follow Me settings be followed when a ring group is ringing the extension.
