I’m struggling with getting the time settings right for hotel wake-up service.
When I dial *68, then press 1 to set an alarm, I press eg 0630 to be woken up at 06:30AM, the voice replies something like: set alarm for 08:30AM. Eh? Was that a typo? I do it again, nope, still 2 hours off … .
I double check, the OS, my Time Zone is set correctly. I also checked /etc/php/8.2/apache2/php.ini and set my timezone in date.timezone. Then followed up with restarting apache2. I also played with DHCP settings to set a time offset, but also that has no effect.
There’s something or place I’m overlooking, but I don’t see it.
Also the time on my phone is displayed correctly.
EDIT: OK I found it, there’s also a setting under advanced in the Web GUI where you can set the time zone. It was still set to UTC, I changed it to GMT+1 and all is well now!
