Hot Desking with Wired and Wireless Phones

What’s the best way to set up templates when hot desking with both wired and wireless phones?

Right now we have a default template with wireless enabled.
If we auto-provision a phone that’s wireless then the staff can log into it just fine.
If we have a wired phone then I have to map a template with wireless disabled to the user.
What happens if that wired user visits a wireless office and needs to log into a phone there?

It’s my understanding that we can’t have a single template in endpoint manger that supports both wired and wireless connectivity. Is that correct? If so, how do we assign multiple templates to a user so that they’re able to log into a wired S705 in one office, then log out and log into a wireless S705 in a different office? Is there another way to accomplish this?
