Help needed in queues

Hello
I am using freebpx v2.9 with asterisk v1.8
My problem is :
Queues is answered immediately with ring (it supposed to be ringing not answered)

Please provide info on how it is configured and console output of a call.

Do you mean that from the callers point of view the call is answered by the system as soon as it goes to the queue. the caller then gets music or an announcement then music .The agent may not pick up the phone for some time.

I couldn’t work out how to queue the calls without them being answered by the system instantly.

I’d be interested to know if its possible.
