Help, freepbx distro crashed

I was not commenting on your purchasing history but the functionality of the module. I install it on every system we sell/rent/host.

The EPM works fine with wireless phones, we just used it for the Yealink DECT.

I meant WI FI. In Dect the SIP device is actually wired.

If the wifi is in the same “collision domain” or subnet as the wired network the wifi is just a bridge. You should be able to find supported endpoints attached by wifi.

If the wifi is in another subnet then discovery will not work.

Personally I have never used discovery. To me the workflow doesn’t make sense.

We just had a large job and used Bluetooth wireless barcode scanners to read the MAC address into the cEPM.

Considering that FreePBX Distro Upgrade Scripts let you to keep updated your FreePBX Distro OS (SHMZ OS) and installed FreePBX Modules in a controlled way (so the whole process involves more actions than a single “yum upgrade” execution) I would evaluate their usage as not SO cumbersome.

Personally I prefer to act via CLI just because I can see what’s happening and I can examine upgrade log on the fly, I’m still not lazy enough to completely fall back to GUI.
