Having issues with linking telnyx to the PBX

Good evening,

been on to telnyx support and theyve directed me away, the pbx when dailing is going to “the number you have dailed is not in service”, with country code in front it says “your call cannot be completed as dialed”.

The PBX hasnt put in any requests to telnyx, I’ve deleted the trunk, outgoing and incoming and made them from fresh but same error.

It is working to call extension to extension so PBX is somewhat working. would appricate any help. been stuck on this for 3 hours now,

What country are you in? What country are you trying to call? In the Telnyx portal for your SIP connection, Outbound, what do you have for Localization country?

For example, if Localization country is set to United States of America, you could call the MCI ANI test number by sending them 8004377950 or 18004377950. To call https://thetestcall.blogspot.com/ in London, UK, you could send them 011442030264621.

means that what your device sent does not match any Outbound Route. It has nothing to do with Telnyx.

usually means that the provider sent an error response because the number you sent was not properly formatted.

If you are certain of this, I’m very puzzled about the ‘not in service’ announcement, unless you have another provider that was sent the call.
