I just purchased this module and got it installed. These two boxes are behind my router using NAT. I have a static nat for one of my secondary IPs to the IP of my main FreePBX box. With this module, I have to add a second IP for the floater, no problem, but if I set an external IP to that floater IP, I can’t register to it. I can’t even register to it with the internal floater IP. Only the main IP of my box works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, it’s not that I 'm getting one way audio, I’m getting nothing, it won’t even register, and the help tags on that page say if it is left blank, it will listen on all IPs. I will give it a try this evening when people aren’t actively using the system. (had to press it into service in an emergency since their phone system went out).
No for HA you have to define the bind address for Asterisk since the floating IP is not a real interface or it fails.
