GUI: Firewall Service Not Running!

The GUI says that System Firewall (13.0.45) is not running. I’m sure it’s something simple, so here’s what I’ve verified so far:

  • /etc/init.d/fail2ban start
  • fwconsole restart
  • Responsive Firewall shows as “enabled”
  • /tmp/firewall.log says “Firewall Service already running, not restarting…”
  • Removed and reinstalled System Firewall

Still get the little red flame of death in the gui.
