GUI access not available - SSH Shows disconnected from Asterisk

I have installed Elastix and access Free PBX through Elastix, now I am unable to log on to my server. When I SSH into the server and trype the command “asterisk -r” I get the following message … Can anyone assist as to what’s happening here ?:

not sure, maybe Asterisk wasn’t started up right. Try killing the process (which means killing the safe_asterisk script first) and the restarting it with “amportal start” and see if that fixes things.

Whenever i forward the call or do self voicemail the asterisk server get down.

are you stating when you navigate your browser to http://your.ip.address/
that you no longer get directed to the login page for free pbx admin GUI?

if so you may try adding /admin/ or admin/config.php.

not sure about the rest of the ssh issues but I believe its related to
Elastix writting to web server files taking controll over them.
do you see anything or what does the page say?

Elastix is not supported here, go to their fora.
