In “vm_general.inc” I have added the line…
maxmsg=500 ; max number of voicemail messages
…which as far as I can tell from research should globally change the max number of voicemails to 500 for each extension. However, it does not seem to be making its way to the voicemail.conf file.
I have been successful in increasing the max messages on a per extension basis by adding “maxmsg=500” to the VM Options boxes, but I would really prefer to change globally.
Any ideas? thanks!
