Getting rid of double users

After a recent upgrade, i now have double the number of users/extension. For example, the extensions were 1234, 1235, 1236. Now, i also have 991234,99,1235, 991236. So this messes up my user count by double. Where did these new users/extension come from and how do i get rid of them without having to delete my entire extension list?

The 99_ extensions are to facilitate the WebRTC phone interface in the User Control Panel (UCP)
To delete the extensions - go to Applications -> Extensions then scroll down to WebRTC Phone
and disable WebRTC for each extension.
