General Mailbox

Hi all,

I am in the process of setting up our FreePBX system.

We currently have a Avaya system. We have a “general mailbox” for the entire organization that holds the voicemail for if a ring group was not answered. We also have a option of being routed to that general mailbox in the auto attendant, or IVR.

Is there a way to get a general mailbox in FreePBX? An alternative?

Sure. Just set up a virtual extension with VM. Point your stuff there.
