Hi,
I wish to schedule a periodic fwconsole restart on a pretty loaded system that has calls pretty much any time of the day/night. RAM is filling over time and a fwconsole restart keeps us going for a month or so.
That being said, I do want to make sure that asterisk is restarted conveniently (not gracefully) so it keeps on processing any calls the time being.
From my understanding, this is the default behavior but I want to make sure as the commands help:
Usage:
restart [options] [–] []…
Arguments:
args
Options:
-i, --immediate Shutdown NOW rather than convieniently
But when I do it manually with no args/options it says:
Shutting down Asterisk Gracefully. Will forcefully kill after 30 seconds.
