Freepbx text to speech and external database integration

Hello,

is Freepbx text to speech compatible with external database? I am trying to setup a online shopping ivr on the pilot number. So I need integration between freepbx text to speech and external database .

I think it is possible to connect with remote database, you use customized dialplan to get the data from remote database.
