FreePBX System Status / FreePBX Statistics

Hello all

I have 1 active incoming call from my DID provider but statistics showing:

Total active calls 1
Internal calls 1
External calls 0
Total active channels 2

Is that normal? Shouldn’t I have “External calls 1” ?

It’s normal.
The PBX determines it by where it is routing the call to - an internal or external destination.
So if you were to make an;

External call:
Total active calls 1
Internal calls 0
External calls 1
Total active channels 2

Internal Call (to another extension):
Total active calls 1
Internal calls 1
External calls 0
Total active channels 2

But I suppose it will be good to see a number of calls between the local PBX & external provider(s) regardless of the call direction.
