FreePBX System recordings not working

Hey,

I configured a FreePBX server running Asterisk 1.6 and FreePBX 2.7. I tried to begin System Recording for an IVR I plan on setting up. I am able to dial *77 to begin recording, but when I enter # or *99 to end and replay the message, nothing happens. When I dial *99 to playback the message, I try to press 1 in that menu to record, but that menu just repeats over and over. It’s like the numbers are not being entered.

Please help.

Well considering the Stable release right now is 2.9 I would start with upgrading to 2.9 and see what happens.

Sorry for the delayed response. Updating the server did nothing, problem still persists.

Post some logs from the Asterisk CLI.
