Freepbx swapping ethernet ports

#1

I’ve installed freepbx14 ( SNG7-PBX-64bit-1904) on a sun x2100 m2 server. This server has 4 ethernet ports. The problem is every time I reboot the machine freepbx chooses a different ethernet port as eth0 and I have to go swapping ports to find the right one so I can ssh in. How can I lock freepbx to always choose the same ethernet port?

If you have a file named

/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

delete it . If not, then

might help

#3

thanks but there is no /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules file in this install.
there’s no 70-persistent-net.rules file anywhere.

Then follow the recipe at the bottom of the link to have systemd do it
