FreePBX on VirtualBox - zoiper app Phones Lose Connection When Trying to Register

:white_check_mark: Phone can ping FreePBX server (192.168.1.177)

:white_check_mark: Phone can access FreePBX web interface

:white_check_mark: Phone can SSH to FreePBX

:white_check_mark: Zoiper SIP registration attempt begins

:cross_mark: Phone instantly loses connection to FreePBX ONLY

:white_check_mark: Phone can still ping router (192.168.1.1)

:white_check_mark: Phone can still ping other devices

:white_check_mark: FreePBX remains 100% functional

:white_check_mark: Other devices can still reach FreePBX (as long as they dont login via zoiper or other apps )

:cross_mark: Phone cannot ping FreePBX anymore

You blocked the IP of the system zoiper is on. You probably had bad authentication that locked you out. Check is the IP is blocked in the firewall.

In Connectivity → Firewall → Intrustion Detection, you can see if the Zoiper’s IP address was banned, unban it, and whitelist it (or the entire local LAN) from future banning.

Make sure that you have the SIP password correct by copy/paste from the Secret field for the extension to the Password in Zoiper.

Thank you very much you are a life savior . but now I cant login with zoiper I followed the instructions and always gives me unauthorized

For the benefit of other readers, what was the default network setting? What is the new setting?

Changed the server settings inside Zoiper from their default domain to mine
