FreePBX Internal Call Statistics

FreePBX system status screen does not show an internal call under the FreePBX Statistics section for internal calls. When placing an internal call (extension to extension) it just shows an active call in total active calls and the number of active channels.

Is there anything that needs to be configured in order for this to work properly?
