I want to change the subject line in the updates notice e-mail from FreePBX: New Online Updates Available to include the host name of the machine.

After reading the post below I am wondering if the freepbx-cron-scheduler.php file is changed back to default when updates are done.

How to change Subject line of Check For Updates Status Notification email

Just wondering if anybody knows where the Subject line is hiding for the Status Notification email that gets sent out when you have Check For Updates active and new online updates available . Thanks

I have quickly learner that modifying this file in any manner gives a Module: “FreePBX Framework”, File: “/var/lib/asterisk/bin/freepbx-cron-scheduler.php altered” tampered file security warning. After doing some additional reading I understand that the php files are easy targets for hacks so this is the reasoning but I am wondering if a feature request to add the IP to the subject line is possible?

This has been done for 13, I will see if this can roll back to 12.
