FreePBX Community Documentation Update

Hello FreePBX Community!

As the end of the year races towards us I wanted to reach out and give you all an update on our FreePBX Community Documentation Project, and call out two community members who have already contributed!

So far we’re working to update documentation that already exists on wiki.freepbx.org. From updated screenshots to updates based on versions. It’s going to be a long process but we’ll keep working towards making this the go-to place for information on FreePBX setup, operation, and troubleshooting. If you see a page that needs some tlc, or maybe a hotspot that might need to get some priority attention, please feel free to send us an email at [email protected]!

I also want to take this opportunity to give props to two community members who have already taken the leap and created new articles for the wiki, @mattbratt and @moussa854! Matt made a great guide for setting up Office365 exchange with FreePBX and Moussa contributed a guide for FreePBX on Google Compute Engine!

They’ve both been awarded the Documentation Contributor badge, and have some Sangoma swag and Amazon giftcards on the way!

If you want to get in on the action, you can pick a topic from our Most Wanted list here , create an entirely new article, or suggest a topic you’d like to see covered! If you’re interested in helping us with this effort, either reply on this forum post and we’ll reach out to you, or email [email protected]

Thanks everybody!

So easy to update the documentation, so plan to continue contributing. FreePBX is the best!
