FreePBX / Asterisk startup script

Hi,

Quick question. I cannot find out the way Asterisk / FreePBX starts during a system boot.
The problem is occasionally asterisk is being killed by OOM kernel process during a backup. In this case I need to create some watchdog script which will restart asterisk. The problem is there is no asterisk, freepbx whatever in /etc/init.d/ nothing in xinetd.d. So how does it start ?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

OK Thank you for that.

However the question is if I don’t have amportal in /etc/init.d/ (I know it doesn’t matter) but I just wanted to know which service includes it to start everything.

Thank you.

amportal restart will make sure all subsystems are restarted in the correct order.

/etc/rc.d/rc.local

Perfect :).

Thank you:).
