I have just received an email and withing it found the following:
“A couple months ago we announced that FreePBX & SIPStation have been acquired by Schmooze Com Inc”
Could someone please tell me how you ‘aquire’ a GPL project, there are a good few open source products that I wouldn’t mind ‘aquiring’. 
You might want to reread the email. I think the email said that Schmooze Com Inc acquired the FreePBX trademark name from Bandwidth i.e. they purchased the rights to the name. You can read the full release at http://blog.schmoozecom.com/
That is correct. We purchased the domain name, registered trademark and copyright. This was all blogged about back in February.
