Freepbx uses it’s own sql tables to hold the config and writes that out to the static asterisk configuration files when you press the orange apply changes bar. (It then issues a reload)
Asterisk realtime stores it’s settings in it’s own sql tables. So there’s no way for freepbx to interract with asterisk if asterisk is running in realtime mode.

I thought that freepbx did it.
And in the next (futur) version, will be possible?
