FreePBX Active Directory Lookup stuck

On a licensed FreePBX:

PBX Distro: 12.7.8-2306-1.sng7
Asterisk Version: 16.30.0
I recently set up a directory in User Management to lookup to one of my organization’s Active Directories. The initial setup pulled the AD accounts into UM, but after that no more lookups occurred. Last week, I updated the User Management module to the latest version available in Module Admin, and after the update the AD accounts in UM updated. However, since then the AD lookup appears to have stalled again.
When I log into the server via SSH, I run:
“fwconsole userman --syncall --force”, I get the following result:
In Userman.class.php line 146:
User Manager is already syncing (Process: 42343)
It has been on that same process number since yesterday morning.

The sync time is 1 hour. The directory has 5508 entries, so could it be the server is not updating all of the accounts before the next sync interval? Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look next to find out why the accounts aren’t syncing?

IF you clear the process and restart does it continue to fail?
