FreePBX 2.9.0.7 Changing recording path hell

Hi,

in general serttings there is not option for path of recordings as the internet shows. Also inadva nce settings there is no mention. I have tried to update extensions_override_freepbx.conf with the below. When I do this it doesnt record a call. If I take this out it records normally in the default location. I have set permissions for the folder to be asterisk and did chmod 777. Still nothing records to the new location.

Please help been on this hours now!

Hi,

I had the same problem. You need to add the trailing slash and also include the MIXMON_FORMAT in order for the custom recording path to work

example extensions_override_freepbx.conf:

MIXMON_DIR = /calls/
MIXMON_FORMAT = wav
