I have done a clone zilla disk to disk and I can’t boot from the disk copy. I got some error about grub. How may I fix this grub. I want to convert this old version to newest but can’t start so I decided to make some upgrades this 2.7 on copy disk and try convert on little updated. But don’t want to do enything on working old version 2.7 to don’t crush it and stop company 
dont know why but clonezilla disk to disk do something wrong that i cant boot from new drive. rescutex cant repair grub. i just cant fix it.
Were you ever able to resolve this? We recently used Clonzilla on FreePBX14 and it boots to grub after cloning. Never a problem on FreePBX13
Bet it has to do with newer Linux moving to UUIDs for the disk. Look in your grub config.
I’m wondering if it is an issue with Linux LVM version? Clonezilla indicates LVM2 (LVM version 1 is not) under GNU/Linux is supported. Not sure what version of LVM is used?
