Freepbx-2.4.0beta1 upgrade error

while installing using (./install_amp) i receive this error message

when i try to run afterwards using

port-mushtaq:/var/www/html/panel # amportal start

then following error appears

Permissions OK

STARTING ASTERISK
Asterisk is already running

STARTING FOP SERVER
/var/www/html/panel/safe_opserver: line 2: /etc/amportal.conf: Permission denied
kill: no process ID specified
Try `kill --help’ for more information.

The FOP’s server (op_server.pl) could not start!
Please correct this problem

Please provide more information.

OS and version you are doing this on, if a Distro please provide that with latest update info. Version of asterisk, FreePBX you were upgrading from, etc…

Does the file /etc/amportal.conf exist now? what are it’s permissions currently, owner and group…

Several of us have tested it against many different versions without a issue so these details become important.

i have now upgraded to SUSE 10.2 and will you please guide me which combination of astersik and freepnx i should install
