when adding a new extension that has the same number as an existing extension, freepbx gives you an error when you click submit, but changes properties of the existing extension.

go the the list on the lefthand side of the webpage select development site, select report bug and create a bug report with complete details of the steps to recreate it along with version numbers.
It jsut get’s lost in the forums to easly otherwise.

thanks - I think there may have been some bugs in 2.3 that I encountered that would do that which I addressed in 2.4 IIRC. If it is doing it in 2.4, than I definitely want to have a look. If it is in 2.3, I’m not sure if we will address it because it was a bit messy and I don’t want to risk breaking something else in 2.3 by trying to address that.
