FreePBX 2.1.2 Released!

I’ve spent the last couple of days bashing on the 2.1 tree, tidying up all the little buglets and various issues. There’s been a couple of security issues that have cropped up with 2.1, of which most have been fixed 8)

I don’t expect there to be a 2.1.3 release before 2.2 comes out, hopefully in less than a couple of weeks.

Enjoy!

After upgrading to freepbx 2.1.2, I clicked to check the CDRs and it now only displays a static page describing what CDR is and how they are useful!
Has anyone seen the same problem?

Thanks,
Kamel

asterisk at barendse.to
If you where at version 2.1.1 you should have run

./install_amp --force-version=2.1.1

that would force the update form your current version
It will not hurt to run it again.

Thanks! This installation has been updated since version 1.1.0016 I think

Running the command line you mentioned didn’t help, still the same errors
about undefined indexes

Weird, this is what I am getting when I click on the Reports -> Call Logs:

ASTERISK : CDR ANALYSER
Call data collection

Regardless of their size, most telephone PBX (public branch exchange) and PMS (property management systems) output Call Detail Records (CDR). Generally, these get created at the end of a call but on some phone systems the data is available during the call. This data is output from the phone system by a serial link known as the Station Message Detail Recording port (SMDR). Some of the details included in call records are: Time, Date, Call Duration, Number dialed, Caller ID information, Extension, Line/trunk location, Cost, Call completion status.

Call detail records, both local and long distance, can be used for usage verification, billing reconciliation, network management and to monitor telephone usage to determine volume of phone usage, as well as abuse of the system. CDR’s aid in the planning for future telecommunications needs.

Control with CDR analysis:

* review all CDR's for accuracy
* verify usage
* resolve discrepancies with vendors
* disconnect unused service
* terminate leases on unused equipment
* deter or detect fraud
* etc ...

Any ideas? Everything in freepbx including this was working fine in 2.1.1.

Please help.
Thanks,
Kamel

Perhaps this should be a new thread, but the restore to a clean install of Trixbox 1.2 w/ upgrade of FreePBX 2.1.2 (from working Trixbox 1.1.1) fails to restore a whole bunch and have to manually re-enter everything over the top.

More detail:

Any idea? Thanx!

When will the non-expected 2.1.3 release be available? 8)

I knew I was tempting fate when I said ‘I don’t expect there to be a 2.1.3’. That usually means ‘Of COURSE you’ve missed something stupid’. It’s out now 8)

1 st clean up the module

rm -f /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/app_trunkisavail.so

The short term solution was to add “chan_zap.so => yes” to the [global] section of modules.conf.

What do you mean with your post?

Is there a bug in 2.1.2 ?

No, there’s no bug in 2.1.2, it’s a bad module in trixbox that causes the issue. Just remove it, and all your problems go away 8)
