Freepbx 17 doesn't recognize the + symbol as international dial code (00)

Hello,

I’ve just upgraded from Freepbx 16 to Freepbx 17 this weekend and I’m having an issue with the “Follow-me” feature:

I have a couple of extensions configured to ring both the extension and an external number at the same time using the following settings:

Initial Ring Time: 0
Ring Strategy: ringallv2-prim
Ring Time: 60
Follow-Me List: "Extension ID"
                 +44 1234 567 890#

This was working fine in Freepbx 16, but it fails on Freepbx 17. Looking at the logs I’ve noticed it was failing in identifying the “+” sign as the international dial code “00” so I’ve changed the phone number to use 0044 1234 567 890#. This has at least enabled the extension to ring, but the external number is still not ringing.

Any ideas why it’s failing to ring the external number configured?

Please install core version 17.0.18.16 to resolve this issue with below command.

fwconsole ma downloadinstall core --tag 17.0.18.16
