Freepbx 14 Fail2ban not running

Hi
Noticed this morning that fail2ban was showing as not running on one of my freepbx 14 instances, did some googling, looking at freepbx community etc and eventually found a post by DR7PBX which read:
Solution:
sudo -u asterisk touch /var/log/asterisk/zulu_out.log

did this followed by:
service fail2ban start

et voila - working again.
Just thought i would let you know. Cheers.
