Force CPU

I’m trying to install FreePBX on a Frankenstein machine. First two attempts seemed to go okay, but asterisk would always stop with Illegal instruction error.

Trying to manually start asterisk, I would get the follow error:
Asterisk ended with exit status 132
Asterisk exited on signal 4.

Researching this leads me to believe that the OS Install is not identifying the CPU correctly.

From what I’ve been able to determine from the motherboard, the CPU should be an AMD Athlon XP/Athlon/Duron.

cpuinfo gives me this:
cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : AuthenticAMD
cpu family : 6
model : 10
model name : Unknown CPU Typ

Is there anyway I can force a CPU type during install instead of relying on anaconda determining the CPU type?
