Force Auto-answer Mode

I have TS350i and TS-9112i IP phone sets that were previously connected to a TalkSwitch PBX.

I used to dial *84 before the extension number to force the phones automatically answers the calls.

Now I connected those phone sets to Asterisk PBX.
Any idea how to emulate the auto-answer in asterisk?

If you would like to maintain consistency with your old system, you may change the code by going to “Feature Codes” in the FreePbx dashboard, scroll down to “Paging and Intercom” and change the code to *84. Just make sure no other feature code is *84.
