Hi. I’ve recently set up a system using several desk phones and a couple of remote softphones. I’m having a little trouble configuring the firewall to allow the remote devices to access the system. When the devices are used on the internal network, everything works as it should. When I use them elsewhere however, for example at home, the firewall blocks all access. I can’t register the phones or access the admin panel in my browser. To get around it, I have to VNC into an office PC, access the admin panel, and add the IP of the network I’m using to the firewall’s trusted zone. Obviously I don’t want to be doing this every time I move to a different network, so what would be the solution please? I’m sure it’s something very simple that I’m overlooking. Thanks in advance.
Aha, looks like I’ve solved my own problem by enabling the responsive firewall. I knew it was something simple!
