Fax support

Hi All,

I am new to Asterisk and FreePBX. I have setup AAH2.8 and it is working ok, but I can’t receive faxes.

Under General Settings I have Fax extension set to “system” and an email is also setup.

Under Inbound Routes I have only one route setup for all incoming calls where i have set up the fax extension “system” and the email address.

The detination for that route to ring group 1, which has all extensions in it.

I am still unable to received faxes.

Any ideas?

Hello I’m new to FreePBX.

Type install-pdf from the Linux command line. This will install support for encoding incoming faxes as PDFs and e-mailing them.
