We’ve been using Fax Pro with great results for the past few months but have recently ran into a problem. Our provider, Telnyx, implemented a new CID policy which rejects calls with incorrect info.
I had setup virtual extensions with the last 4 digits of the fax number as the username, then in the extension settings set the Outbound CID to the full number. This seemed to be working, or so I thought, until today when I received some calls about faxes not going through.
Looking at the logs I can see the call flows from my server sending only the username in the From header and not what I had set in the extension settings. I tried setting the outgoing station ID, and tried setting sendrpid=pai in the Trunk Outgoing Details.
