Fax detection kicking in when it shouldn't

faxdetect=no set in chan_dahdi, have tried yes, incoming and outgoing?

we used to have this problem on an old trixbox system and the faxdetect setting fixed it.

Its a digium wildcard TE412P (gen 3 i think) that does not work with dahdi 2.6 so i had to rollback to dahdi 2.5 at digium’s suggestion to get the card to stop causing a kernel panic.
