Most of our agents can see our pre-defined favorites list and also add contacts to their own favorites. However, a few have the View: drop-down empty and cannot add contacts to a favorite list either. I’ve gone through their settings and they are identical to those who see contact lists. This is on FreePBX 17.0.19.28 with softphones 4.0.6.
Can you please give some ideas where else to look?
Yes, everyone is in the same group (we only have one internal group).
There is no error when trying to add to favorites - it fails silently, but I guess that’s because there’s no favorite list to select in the first place?
In the “Show in Contact Manager Groups” I have “All Internal Groups”. Is that wrong - should I explicitly add “User Manager Group” and our internal group there as well? But this setting is the same for everyone and 9 people have it working while 3 don’t…
The “Show in Contact Manager Groups” need to set as “Userman Manager Group”
For the three users where it’s not working, please recheck whether the permission is associated with the user individually or through a group. It is purely permission-based.
If possible can you share group and not working user screenshot of Contact Manager for “Show in Contact Manager Groups” settings
Thank you @Santhosh - I’ve added Userman Manager Group to one of the users and will ask her to check in the morning.
If that doesn’t work, I’ll try upgrading rtapi as well - it doesn’t come up as an available update, so I assume it’s a pre-release version? This is a production pbx, so I’m a bit hesitant to update it with any pre-release versions unless absolutely necessary.
