The error you get is because you are running a strange version of Asterisk:
Asterisk SVN-moy-mfcr2-r155465 built by root @ cnt-r2-gye on a i686 running Linux on 2008-11-12 01:23:51 UTC

This version does not provide any version number as to a ‘standard’ Asterisk:
Asterisk 1.4.15 built by root @ pbx.local on a i686 running Linux on 2007-12-17 18:25:51 UTC

The script is looking for the version number and yours does not provide any, that is why you get an error. Please replace you Asterisk with a supported one and FreePBX will work.

Or, (NOT SUPPORTED), patch the retrieve_conf so that is skips the version check.

Hi,

I get the same error message with the following asterisk version.

Asterisk 1.4.22

FreePBX 2.5.1.1

Thanks
Chris
