Fail2ban not working?

I have fail2ban loaded:

root@raspbx:~# fail2ban-client status asterisk
Status for the jail: asterisk

|- Total banned: 0

but I am still getting hundreds of these in my log.

[2019-03-09 23:46:09] NOTICE[16611] res_pjsip/pjsip_distributor.c: Request ‘INVITE’ from ‘<sip:[email protected]>’ failed for ‘212.129.46.161:60179’ (callid: 1208599151-859819024-908390101) - No matching endpoint found

Should fail2ban stop these?

This is not a supported version, lookup their documentation, since you can’t configure it from the GUI.
