Fail2ban configuration

I have made some modifications to the fail2ban config in the Sysadmin Module. My changes get saved but for some reason they are not reflected in /etc/fail2ban/jail.local

Is there anything other than “Save” that I need to do in order to apply my changes?

Things can be applied to fail2ban without writing to the files.

As long as they are reflected in your active rules after a reboot, you are good.
