Externip setting not updating in sip_general_additional.conf

I changed our external IP address here, and updated the external IP setting in the web interface, but I was still having a one-way audio issue. After fiddling with a thousand settings here and on our firewall, I checked the sip_general_additional.conf file and the old setting is still there. After modifying the file to contain the correct parameter and issuing a reload command from the CLI, everything is working properly.

Any ideas as to why this file would not be updated from the WUI?

PS: Permissions don’t seem to be the issue:

Just figured it out. The ChanSIP page had inherited the earlier setting in the “Override External IP” field and somehow it stuck there. I deleted that entry and all is back to normal. I have no idea why or when that was entered there, but it was probably my doing.
