External number in RG dialing locally

FreePBX15 restore from V13 has ring groups that try to dial external numbers as local numbers. External numbers have # sign but it doesn’t seem to be recognized. Created a new RG with external number and the system tries to dial local. Outbound route has dialplan for 10 digit numbers and outbound calls to 10 digit numbers process with no issues.

Looks like it is working exactly right. The format of Local/xxxxx@from-internal indicates it’s being routed as though it were a call being processed through the dialplan. What are you getting farther down in the log file?

Very interesting, I did not realize that. Once I knew that wasn’t the problem I realized maybe it was a CallerID issue so I changed the Fixed CID to match the CID of the business and it worked. I should have thought of that myself. For some reason I got hung up on the internal, thank you for the help!
