Hello, I would like to use alphanumeric extensions to allow users to use their favourite login. I think (new to all this) freepbx does not allow to assign logins to accounts, only “numbers”.
How to create an account so that user can register with login (e.g. James12/pasword) to my SIP server?

you can use alphanumeric extension with freepbx and a2billing … Pls enter admin ( a2billing )
under Customer
Voıp Settings
list all customer and click pen (edit)
you can see
enter new alphanumeric extension

FreePBX will only allow numeric-based extension numbers. It is not possible to have alphanumeric extensions.
