Extension seems to picked up but hangup inmediately

this afternoon i found this trouble , i was going to dial an extension and this one rings once , then seems if like someone answered but no one did , sometimes stays there with no sound , or sometimes hangsup inmediately ., i alreacdy checked the verbose… it looks like …

This is normally a Codec issue, and most probably caused by g729. Disable g729 wherever you have it enabled, and lock everything to one codec (G722 if you can, otherwise G711)

Do you really have an extension “911”. I can think of a dozen ways that might cause a problem.

i guess , it could be , but let me tell you , this extension is in a analog phone and this one is connected to a gateway , a Gransdstream gw4248 , the other lines conected there are okay , so i think its not a problem of codecs , due i have all the other extensions with same config and i dont have a problem with these …

well , if you say it by the 911 of the police , here in Colombia , the police doesnt have that code … so inside a dialplan there should not be any problem with that cause its just like another number
